Very Rare, Dense, Dark Chocolate Caracolillo Honduras Mahogany turning blanks measuring 1.5" x 1.5" x 12".

Caracolillo, ("Kara-Ko-Lee-Yo"), is true genuine Honduras Mahogany, (Swietenia macrophylla), but comes from a
tree that grew in the deepest regions of the rainforest in near complete absence of sunlight. These trees grow short,
(60' high vs 120'), and fail to punch through the forest canopy to get proper sunlight. They end up growing very slowly
and have a wood color that resembles dark chocolate or coffee with wild grain patterns that can be uncommon when
compared to normal Honduras Mahogany wood. Back in the day at the height of the Mahogany industry in then British
Honduras this wood very rarely ever made it out of the colony as those with means and influence would buy these logs
and locally use them for wainscoting and furniture in their homes and businesses.

These would make great bottle stoppers that would be great additions and conversation pieces at your bar.

(Note that the turning blank you receive may differ slightly from the grain and color of the blank seen in the product image.)
